SP-2000R is an epoxy coating that we apply to your water cooling tower as part of a refurbishment. It extends the life of your equipment by placing a barrier between the corrosive elements in your water and the metal of your tower.
Permanent bonding can be expected when the product is properly applied. It adheres to all your surfaces, metal or otherwise.
We only use an elastomeric epoxy coating because it will hold fast, yet allows some flexibility as the metal expands and contracts due to changes in temperature.

- Apply SP-2000R in controlled environment
- Reassemble the cooling tower
- Test and record performance
Our experience and know-how lets us perform the application process safely and properly. For a permanent application, have Cooltek,

Call us to find out more about the technical advantages of epoxy coating. It has been our specialty for years - and we can share that competitive advantage with you. |
The best time to recondition your cooling tower is in the cooler months - off peak demand. Unfortunately, those are not the best conditions for applying the
epoxy coating. For this reason, we create a mini-environment in which to apply the protective material. Although the work is exacting, the results of proper preparation are well worth it in the long-run. In fact, 95% of the job as it relates to applying the SP-2000R is in the preparation.
